adidas Ultra Boost 20 5th Anniversary

A special cushioning system from adidas is certainly a great success. The Boost cushioning is now 5 years old and thus celebrating its anniversary. In 2015, we felt the unbeatable and responsive cushioning for the very first time. Since then, the cushioning with legendary potential has been packed onto more sneakers. For the anniversary, adidas releases a "5th Anniversary" pack. In this pack, we find two popular silhouettes: an adidas Ultraboost DNA and the new adidas Ultraboost 20, which was just released this year. The sneakers also have a story to tell in terms of their colour. The chosen colourways remind us of the first Ultraboosts that were released 5 years ago.

Over the years, the Ultraboosts have been reissued many times. The adidas Ultraboost 20 is the latest silhouette and combines years of experience. With the Ultraboost DNA, we have seen a two-part colour scheme. The Ultraboost 20 adds white to it.

The lightweight and perfectly fitting Primeknit upper mixes white, black, and purple. The reactive Boost sole also has the same colour scheme.

Many years ago, the Boost sole was not dyed at all. Back then, it was completely white. However, adidas has been dyeing the Boost sole for several months now. On this Ultraboost 20, we even see a double colour gradient. The rear white runs into the dark black and then further into the striking purple.
