The adidas Ultra Boost has been on the market for less than 10 years and has already become an absolute legend in the sneaker game. The adidas Ultra Boost DNA 1.0 Nerf focuses on the essential features of the icon and therefore draws full attention to the Primeknit upper and the incredibly popular Boost midsole. The former consists of at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic, which is collected from remote beaches and coastal regions. The remaining 50% is made of recycled polyester. The outsole of the Ultra Boost is made of robust Continental rubber.

The adidas Ultra Boost DNA 1.0 Nerf uses an asymmetrical design that gives the sneaker a very eye-catching look. The front of the left shoe is wrapped in a bright neon orange, while the heel, laces, and tongue have been given a bright solar yellow. The inner lining, however, matches the orange front again. A blue loop is also attached to the heel. A yellow "boost" lettering adorns the black side elements.

The right shoe uses a neon yellow front and a blue tongue and heel. The inner lining remains orange in this case and complements the same-coloured strap and laces. The small "boost" inscription on this side is also coloured blue. Despite the asymmetrical design, both shoes have clear similarities. The cage and the middle area of the upper material, for example, are both equipped with a clean "chalk white". The blue midsole and the black Continental outsole have also been aligned.
