With all the pictures and videos of Ultra Boost fans cutting the cages off their own pairs to customise them, the design team at adidas was inspired to release the Ultra Boost Uncaged many years ago. The same look has now appeared on an upcoming Ultra Boost LAB in a sandy colour palette, with stripes floating where the cage used to be.

The Primeknit upper features a mix of light and dark "Wonder White" and "Halo Blush" details. Eliminating the branded lace cages, the pair uses the Three Stripes as dark accents on the side.

The material is also used on the heel counter, which features the Ultra Boost lettering in a light hue. As usual, the fan-favourite white Boost midsole completes the model for ultimate comfort.
