Does it seem quiet on the adidas Yeezy front? Since June 2021, there have actually been fewer releases, but more on Yeezy Day first. This special holiday for sneakerheads took place on August 3rd. Countless models were brought back, along with some new releases.

Shortly after, adidas confirmed the release of this new Yeezy, which has been doing the rounds on the web since spring. What's special about this sneaker? It's the first Yeezy to feature a colour-changing exterior. Will it get much more attention now than the other Yeezys?

The Yeezys might appear like an ordinary version on the first glance, but when the sun's UV light hits the shoe directly, the  colour of the seemingly colourless mesh stripes on the sides changes.

When you set a foot outside with these sneakers, the hue turns into a rich yellow. The rest, however, with white-grey mesh and light soles, remains unchanged. Will this nice gimmick one day perhaps replace the familiar Reflective variant?
