The OG is characterised by high-quality materials and adopts the team colours of North Carolina Tar Heels and Obsidian. The basis is a smooth leather with a Sail colour tone. The Swoosh, the Wings logo, and the overlays are dyed in dark Obsidian. The rear heel inserts and ankle caps are decorated with MJ's alma mater colours in light blue.

The midsole is in the same Sail tone as the base and is rounded off with dark blue laces and a dark blue outsole.
