We know the AJ1 as an absolute sports and streetwear icon, but the shoes were considered too revolutionary and rebellious at the time.
The NBA tried to stop Jordan with all possible means, but they couldn't stand up to the fans of the brand-new silhouette. The Air Jordan 1 High OG Rebellionaire is dominated by dark grey and black tones and stays true to the minimalist aesthetic with the white midsole and grey outsole. The entire sneaker is adorned with multiple "They Can't Stop You From Wearing Them" prints. The grey elements, however, use a smaller font size, while the black elements present bold prints. Another special feature is the heels of the sneaker, which feature two gold "X "s, alluding to the "banishment" of the shoes.
