The Air Jordan 1 Low Method of Make v3 “Suit & Tie” is definitely no ordinary release. Jordan Brand is breaking new ground here, combining sneaker DNA with classic formalwear design – and doing so quite consistently.

The most striking detail sits right on the heel: an extended heel section is shaped like a shirt collar and even features a button fastening integrated into the lacing. Added to this is a polka-dot accessory on the laces that looks like a tie, whilst a golden Jumpman brooch further enhances the look.

The upper also carries the concept through. Pinstripe elements are reminiscent of classic suits, whilst shiny black patent leather provides a sophisticated, almost luxurious finish. Despite the many details, the silhouette remains recognisably an AJ1 Low – just completely reinterpreted.

The whole look is rounded off by a grey outsole, which adds a touch of balance to the eye-catching design. Overall, this is one of the most experimental Jordan releases in recent times and definitely not for minimalists.
