Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Chicago"

TLDR: The Air Jordan 1 Low OG ‘Chicago’ is finally making a comeback on 15 November 2025 – almost ten years after its last release. The legendary low-top model will be available in the classic colours Varsity Red, Summit White and Black for €160 on Nike.com and at selected Jordan retailers.

The 2025 version stays true to the 1985 original and the first retro from 2016, with some subtle but welcome updates. These include larger, better-placed Swooshes that are much closer to the OG shape, as well as modernised materials and a revised cut. The construction remains unchanged. Smooth leather in Summit White as the base, bold red overlays and a black Swoosh create a look that is both nostalgic and timeless.

Varsity Red dominates the mudguard, lacing and heel area, while black provides contrast on the Swoosh, laces, inner lining and Wings logo. The white midsole and perforated toe area round off the vintage feel. 

Fans of the first hour will be particularly pleased about the big comeback of the ‘Big Swoosh’, which was recently replaced in many Jordan 1 Low releases. This return to its original form is likely to be a highlight of the sneaker year for collectors – especially since the 2016 release is now virtually unaffordable on the resale market.

The sneaker will be released on Saturday, 15 November 2025, at a price of €160.
