With the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Laser”, Jordan Brand is reviving a design theme that first gained prominence through releases in the 2000s. Following in the footsteps of the Air Jordan 3 “Laser”, the low-top classic now also features an upper packed with engraved details.

Black and dark brown leather form the base, whilst the laser-artwork panels around the toe, eyelets, sides and collar provide the real eye-catcher. The engravings reveal a lighter layer of leather, making logos, lettering and hand-drawn Jordan motifs stand out clearly.

Despite the abundance of graphics, the colourway remains pleasantly understated. Black leather on the toe box, Swooshes and heel ties the design together, whilst Fire Red on the tongue tags and the Wings logo provides the sole bold colour accent.

Beneath the upper sits a light cream-coloured midsole, which, together with the dark rubber outsole, adds a subtle vintage touch. Even the packaging picks up on the theme: The classic AJ1 box features additional laser graphics around the Swoosh branding.
