Jordan Brand is expanding its “Year of the Horse” collection with another special Air Jordan 1 Low SE. Rather than relying on over-the-top designs or eye-catching gold details, this version remains significantly more subtle and focuses primarily on materials and textures.

The base is a clean white leather upper, combined with brown overlays and a slightly yellowed sail midsole. The real highlight is on the heel: pony hair details with a speckled pattern directly reference the horse theme and give the trainer a high-quality Western aesthetic.

Added to this are embossed suede Swooshes reminiscent of saddle designs, as well as red laces – a traditional symbol of luck and prosperity during the Lunar New Year. Small premium details such as a gold Jumpman hangtag, an embroidered canvas tongue and special Western lettering on the insole round off the concept.

The colourway thus creates a powerful blend of traditional symbolism, cowboy vibes and modern Jordan design – without coming across as too loud.
