TLDR: The Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Shattered Backboard’ brings back the iconic colour combination of orange, black and white in a summery low-cut design. It will be available from 26 June for 130 €. Jordan Brand is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1 with a real fan favourite: the Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Shattered Backboard’. The new low-cut version is based on the celebrated high-top colourway from 2015, but doesn't get stuck in the past.
The most striking feature is the orange toebox, which is framed by a black mudguard. White side panels and a black tongue area add subtle accents, while the Swoosh and heel feature bright orange again. Another highlight is the slightly yellowed Sail midsole, which perfectly underscores the retro vibe. The black outsole provides the necessary contrast and grip.
Although many fans would like to see an OG-style low version (as with the recent ‘Obsidian’ or ‘Rookie of the Year’ lows), this model draws on the modern AJ1 low design – with the Jumpman logo on the tongue and Wings branding on the heel. The upper, made entirely of smooth leather, gives the sneaker a high-quality look.
When is the Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Shattered Backboard’ release date?
The Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Shattered Backboard’ will be released on 26 June 2025 at a price of 130 €. The model is one of the most anticipated drops of the season and is likely to sell out quickly.
