TLDR: The Air Jordan 12 Retro “Bucks” draws on the colours of the Milwaukee Bucks and rare Ray Allen player exclusives from the early 2000s. White leather, a dark green mudguard and iridescent green and purple details define the release, which arrives on 19 September 2026 for 215€.
Officially named “Idols Become Rivals”, the release brings a familiar player-exclusive look to the wider market. Although the Air Jordan 12 “Bucks” is not an official collaboration with Ray Allen or Milwaukee’s NBA franchise, its colour scheme clearly recalls the exclusive pairs associated with the former Bucks star.
Summit White covers the tumbled leather upper, retaining the AJ12’s signature radiating stitch lines and their sunrise-inspired appearance. A reptile-textured Gorge Green mudguard wraps around the lower section of the trainer, with the deep green shade continuing onto parts of the rubber outsole.
Fierce Purple accents the Jumpman branding and several smaller details. The upper eyelets and lateral Jumpman panel stand out with an iridescent finish that shifts between green, blue and purple depending on the light. Full-length Zoom Air cushioning, a foam midsole and a carbon-fibre shank maintain the familiar performance foundation underneath.
