Air Jordan 3 "Doernbecher XIX" (US-Exclusive)

In its incredibly long history, the brand with the Jumpman has built up a gigantic portfolio of trainers and still releases an even more advanced version every year. It all started with the extremely popular Air Jordan 1, which still tops the rankings almost 40 years later. Even if the Air Jordan 3 cannot match the popularity of the original, it has nevertheless built up a considerable fanbase that follows every release. Now, fans of the model can look forward to a very special version as part of the latest Doernbecher collection! 

This special edition was designed by Hugo "Juice" Covarrubias Molina, who took his inspiration from the Seattle Seahawks' team colours of navy blue and slime green. As a tribute to the boy's nickname, the slime green runs down the ankle. The hang tag, which is coated in 24-karat gold, represents Juice's love for jewellery. The outsole of the shoes carries a powerful message that says, "It's okay to be different," a source of inspiration for Juice as he copes with Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome.

The official images of the Air Jordan 3 "Doernbecher XIX" have already been published and the release date has also been set for 2 December. Unfortunately, the drop will only take place in the USA, so we'll have to look for a pair on reseller markets.
