TLDR: The Air Jordan 4 “Light Army” dresses the iconic silhouette in a restrained, military-inspired colourway for the colder months. The European-exclusive release is expected to arrive during the Holiday 2026 season. The trainer is set to retail for 220€.
Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 4 originally made its debut in 1989. Signature features such as the mesh side panels, prominent wings and visible Air cushioning established it as a performance model, while the silhouette has since become one of Jordan Brand’s most sought-after lifestyle trainers.
The “Light Army” edition features an almost entirely olive-coloured nubuck upper. Its muted green shade extends from the toe box across the side panels and around the heel, giving the trainer a rugged, autumn-ready appearance.
Lighter “Light Silver” accents appear on the mesh panels, eyelets and padded collar. Darker “Cargo Khaki” details cover sections of the midsole and outsole alongside the Jumpman branding on the tongue. Subtle “Phantom” elements add further contrast without disrupting the earthy palette.
The familiar wings allow for different lacing configurations, while the visible Air unit in the heel provides the traditional cushioning associated with the Air Jordan 4. Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel tab complete the design.
The Air Jordan 4 “Light Army” carries the product code JA5911-320 and comes in an official Light Army/Light Silver–Cargo Khaki–Phantom colourway.
