Air Jordan 4 NET "Black"

The Air Jordan 4 celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2024 and remains one of the most coveted Jordan silhouettes. In addition to coveted releases such as the ‘White Cement’ or the ‘Aluminum’, a new version of the polarising Air Jordan 4 NET is now being released. After the white ‘Phantom’ version, which met with little enthusiasm at the end of 2024, an all-black ‘Triple Black’ edition is now following.

Visually, this version borrows heavily from the popular ‘Black Cat’ colourway. However, the striking feature of the model remains the extended TPU mesh, which covers the entire upper half of the shoe. While the mesh can only be found on the tongue and side panels of the classic AJ4, it dominates the entire design here. The so-called ‘free-floating eyestays’ also enable different lacing techniques, which, according to Nike, ensure an improved fit.

The release of the Air Jordan 4 NET ‘Triple Black’ is planned for 26 February 2025. After the rather moderate success of the first version, it remains to be seen whether the black colour scheme will make the sneaker more popular with fans.
