With the Air Jordan 4 RM, Jordan Brand is deliberately taking a different approach to classic retro releases. Instead of nostalgia, the focus here is on everyday wearability – and that’s exactly what you notice about the “Cool Grey” straight away. Whilst the silhouette remains clearly inspired by the AJ4, it has an overall more modern and minimalist feel.

The upper combines various shades of grey such as “Cool Grey” and “Light Smoke Grey”, featuring a mix of suede, leather and mesh. This creates a clean yet textured look. Particularly striking is the new, slightly transparent cage, which replaces the classic wings and gives the shoe a more contemporary touch.
In terms of colour, everything remains pleasantly understated: Sail details add a subtle touch of lightness to the grey, whilst black elements on the laces, lining and midsole provide contrast. The visible Air unit in the heel offers additional comfort, making the trainer perfect for everyday wear.
