With the Air Jordan 40, Jordan Brand continues to focus on both innovation and heritage in 2026. The anniversary model combines classic DNA with forward-thinking design – and the new ‘Metallic Copper’ variant shows that even minimalist colourways can have maximum impact.

The upper is completely finished in shimmering metallic copper and has a textured surface that is almost reminiscent of a lacquered or artistic coating. Black accents on the lining, tongue and midsole provide contrast and give the eye-catching finish visual balance. Unlike some hybrid versions, this model stays close to the core silhouette and lets the colour do the talking.

Technically, the AJ40 is currently at the top of the performance range: it is the first Jordan model to combine ZoomX foam with a full-length Zoom Strobel unit. The result is a particularly responsive, lightweight setup designed for quick changes of direction and maximum energy return.
