Jordan Brand continues its new hybrid offensive centred on the Air Jordan 40 and, with the Air Jordan 4014 “Ferrari”, delivers a real eye-catcher for fans of classic retro colourways. The new silhouette combines modern basketball performance with the legendary design codes of the Air Jordan 14.

The focus is, of course, on the iconic “Ferrari” inspiration of the AJ14. The upper is crafted entirely from vibrant Challenge Red suede, immediately evoking the famous Ferrari colourway of the original from 2014. Black and yellow accents further enhance the classic sports car aesthetic.

The blend of retro and modern is particularly evident in the details. The familiar shield-shaped Ferrari-inspired emblem remains on the side of the ankle, whilst carbon fibre overlays on the toe box deliver motorsport vibes. Added to this are metallic silver heel bumpers and an embossed “23” on the heel.

The construction also clearly demonstrates the link between past and present. Whilst elements such as the AJ14 tongue and the aggressive shape evoke nostalgic memories, the technical foundation is based on the modern Air Jordan 40 Performance System for up-to-date on-court support.
