Jordan Brand has released a gigantic number of sneakers in their incredibly long history, and each model from the long line is more or less regularly equipped with new colourways. While the Air Jordan 5 doesn't match the popularity of the 1, it's built up quite a fanbase over the years that gets excited about each new release.

We now finally have an Air Jordan 5 with the popular "Gore-Tex" treatment! Gore-Tex is a waterproof material that has already been used on numerous Nike and Air Jordan shoes.

For this release, a pitch black upper dominates, which has been upgraded with various accents in the Air Jordan 5-typical "Fire Red" colourway. For example, we see the obligatory "23" on the side of the shoe, and the "Gore-Tex" branding is also unmistakable in its bright red colour.
