Air Jordan 5 "Halloween"

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 5 originally debuted in 1990. Its distinctive midsole teeth were inspired by the nose art found on American fighter aircraft – a design concept that fits this Halloween edition particularly well.

Black suede covers almost the entire upper, giving the trainer a dark and stealthy appearance. The laces, eyelets, mesh panels and tongue also remain completely black, allowing the limited flashes of colour to command more attention.

Jordan Brand introduces several glow-in-the-dark elements to create the Halloween theme. The Jumpman on the tongue, the embroidered “23” near the heel and the classic Nike Air branding on the back feature glowing green details. The translucent outsole also illuminates in low-light conditions.

“Picante Red” appears across the jagged shark teeth on the black midsole, which are finished with additional dark speckles. Further red accents can be found behind the tongues, where subtle “XXIII” embroidery provides another concealed detail. Instead of relying on oversized Halloween graphics, the trainer communicates its theme through its black foundation, glowing green elements and sharp red contrasts.

The Air Jordan 5 “Halloween” carries the product code HQ7978-001 and comes in an official Black/Black–Picante Red colourway.

The current release date is October 17th, 2026. Adult, GS, preschool and toddler sizes are expected to be available, with adult pairs priced at 220€.
