To mark the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 6, Jordan Brand is reviving a true legend: the ‘Infrared Salesman,’ a sample pair from 1999 that is still known in the sneaker community by its nickname, ‘Reverse Infrared.’ Instead of being used sparingly as usual, the eye-catching infrared tone covers a large area of the midsole.

The black nubuck upper remains classic, but Jordan Brand has visibly redesigned the shape for the first time: the toe area has been narrowed, the inner lining has been redesigned, and the tongue has been lengthened by 2 mm – all based on MJ's original pairs from the early 90s. This makes it the first Jordan 6 Retro without a collaboration that is visually closer than ever to the OG version.

Another highlight is the prototype-style details: sample text on the inner lining, special hang tags and a customised box are reminiscent of original sales samples from the archives. The release is rounded off by an accompanying apparel collection and matching Jordan 1 Low and Flight Court models.

The Air Jordan 6 ‘Infrared Salesman’ will be released on Saturday, 14 February 2026, just in time for Valentine's Day and NBA All-Star Weekend, at a price of €210.
