Jordan Brand is making a real statement for 2026 with the Air Jordan 6 ‘Sashiko’, combining iconic basketball design with traditional Japanese craftsmanship. Inspired by the sashiko embroidery technique, known for its visible stitching and mended aesthetic, the classic model gets a completely new look and feel.

The base is crafted from high-quality “Pale Ivory” leather, complemented by canvas overlays. Striking, visible stitching along the panels creates a handcrafted vibe and echoes the wabi-sabi philosophy – beauty in imperfection. Particularly eye-catching is the Jujizashi cross-stitching on the tongue and heel, which sits over blue tie-dye canvas and lends the trainer depth and texture.

Another highlight is the heel: here, a cut-out detail creates an exciting layered look and reveals the Jumpman logo. The design is complemented by “Work Blue” accents on the midsole and heel tab, which harmonise perfectly with the stitching.
