With the Air Jordan 7 “Miro”, Jordan Brand is bringing a true grail back from the archives. The original was released in 2008 and quickly became one of the most sought-after AJ7 releases of all time – not least because of its strong connection to art, the Olympics and Michael Jordan’s legendary Dream Team era.

The inspiration comes from Joan Miró’s famous sculpture “Dona i Ocell” in Barcelona. Accordingly, yellow, red, green, blue and black run across the otherwise white leather upper as abstract, almost painted accents. Black panels and the dark tongue provide enough structure to this wild mix.

The details also consistently continue the story. Michael Jordan’s Team USA number 9 sits on the heel, whilst the transparent outsole features additional basketball and splatter-paint graphics. Multicoloured laces and a colour-striped heel tab pick up on the art theme once again.

The Air Jordan 7 “Miro” is set to release on 24 August 2026.
