TLDR: The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro x Arts-Rec will be released on 22 July 2025 for €130 and is inspired by the San Diego skate scene, the zoo in Balboa Park and a mix of natural colours, animal prints and textured materials. California skate shop institution Arts-Rec is teaming up with Nike SB to launch its first Dunk Low Pro. The design celebrates San Diego's diverse culture, the nature of its famous zoo and the creative energy of the skate community.
The upper combines textured leather in rust pink and rough green with subtle animal prints in off-black on the mudguard, heel and lace lining. The burnt orange hairy suede Swoosh adds a particularly tactile touch to the shoe. A cream-coloured midsole and semi-transparent outsole harmoniously round off the nature-inspired design.
Details such as embossed elements, graphically printed insoles and tonally coordinated laces make the shoe a tribute to the local scene, including subtle references to the 40-hectare zoo in Balboa Park, which served as a source of inspiration.
