The "O.G. with a Twist" series began in 2023 at the adidas Consortium Cup with a Samba and David Alaba, followed two years later by the Handball Spezial with Alessandro Del Piero. Chapter three now goes to Marcelo, Brazilian international and five time Champions League winner with Real Madrid.

The real twist lies in the model. The Oregon Ultra Tech arrived in 1991 as an evolution of the 1982 Oregon and as a statement of how adidas imagined the future of running at the time. That shows in the Dellinger web wrapped around the midsole, joined by several layers of material and chunky overlays.
