The collection comprises two models: the New Balance Fresh Foam Trainer and the New Balance Minimus Trail. Both have been specially developed for outdoor use and combine robust materials with a minimalist look.
The Fresh Foam Trainer features a ripstop upper with a grey grid pattern, which is significantly more durable than classic mesh. Metallic silver overlays on the heel, sides and toe cap provide stability whilst giving the shoe a technical look. Underfoot, a sturdy Fresh Foam X midsole delivers comfort and cushioning even over longer distances.
The Minimus Trail, on the other hand, takes a lighter approach. Here, CAYL combines breathable mesh with weather-resistant ripstop on the toe and heel. Coloured mesh panels add a subtle outdoor look, whilst a lace-toggle system replaces traditional laces for a quick fit. A grippy rubber outsole rounds off the trail design.
