In his latest collaboration with adidas Originals, Edison Chen radically reinterprets the Superstar once again – this time as a fashionable fusion of sneaker and dress shoe. The silhouette remains true to the iconic shell-toe design in its basic structure, but takes a bold step towards upscale street formalwear in terms of both appearance and functionality.

The upper is made of genuine leather on the tongue and toe box, while hairy faux fur in a cowhide look (cream, brown, black and tan) on the sides provides a particularly tactile experience. The classic Three Stripes are discreetly embroidered, and gold branding on the insole marks the collaboration with CLOT. Tassels on the cream-coloured laces and jagged edges on the tongue give the shoe additional dressy touches.

The familiar rubber sole of the Superstar has been replaced by a new, loafer-inspired outsole – in a wood look and with a dark, contrasting outsole. The result is a hybrid shoe that effortlessly balances luxury fashion, street style and cultural experimentation.

The sneaker will be released on 31 January 2026 at a price of €500.
