The use of Chinese culture in CLOT's collabs dates back to 2006, when Edison Chen's label teamed up with Nike for their very first sneaker.

And after crafting an Air Jordan 14 Low and an Air Jordan 35 with smooth, silky layers and terracotta influences, the designer now returns with a sneaker that started it all. This time, however, it's an evolved form of its predecessor. Indeed, the hits on the upper are noticeably darker and allude to a certain theme from Chinese culture.

The CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "Kiss Of Death - Cha" is obviously a successor of the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "Kiss Of Death". The characteristic details, logos, and colours take their original position, the latter being significantly darker. The sneakers are inspired by one of the seven necessities of Chinese life: drinking tea.

A rich "Rocky Tan" hue on the upper is combined with even darker bridal tones, while the Swooshes and other co-brandings in "Sport Red" complete the overall design.
