With the Converse SHAI 001 “Camo”, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s signature model gets its most eye-catching look yet. Following a series of rather clean releases, Converse is now opting for an aggressive, military-inspired design.

The upper is entirely covered in a camouflage print in green, brown, black and beige. The all-over look extends across the entire silhouette, giving the trainer a strong, almost tactical vibe. At the same time, the futuristic shape of the SHAI 001, with its characteristic zip design, remains clearly recognisable.

A uniform olive green on the midsole, outsole, inner lining and zip elements provides balance. A glossy heel stabiliser and black Shai logos on the tongue and insole add further accents.

In terms of performance, the trainer also remains top-notch: a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot provides responsive cushioning, whilst the special traction supports quick changes of direction and explosive moves.
