With the SHAI 001 LUX ‘Truffle,’ Converse takes its partnership with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to a new level. Instead of a classic performance look, this version clearly focuses on premium aesthetics and lifestyle appeal – perfectly timed around NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.

The shoe comes entirely in deep, chocolate-brown nubuck, which gives the futuristic silhouette a particularly high-quality look. A clean zip closure on the inside ensures a modern, minimalist look. Subtle gold foil details on the sockliner add elegant accents without appearing overdone. The clean lines of the SHAI 001 remain intact, but here they take on a significantly more mature, luxurious look.

The launch will be staged accordingly: early access will be available from 14th February at the ‘Shai Lounge’ pop-up in L.A., followed by special drops at Undefeated La Brea and a Foot Locker takeover at L.A. Live. In addition to the ‘Truffle,’ there will also be restocks of popular colourways and a new ‘Clean Slate’ version.
