With the SHAI 001, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has created a signature trainer that brings his calm presence and creative style directly onto the court. The “Spark” communicates this idea particularly well: restrained and almost monochromatic on the outside, it hides a bold contrast beneath the surface.

The padded, moulded upper is finished predominantly in a light “Ghosted” grey. This shade runs from the toe across the futuristic sculpted side panels and onto the midsole and outsole. Unzipping the long shroud reveals the bright yellow mesh tongue and hidden laces underneath. This allows the trainer to be worn with either a deliberately clean appearance or a more expressive flash of colour.

The zipped shroud is more than a visual feature. It wraps around the foot to provide adaptable containment while concealing a traditional lacing system for a customisable fit.
