TLDR: The District Vision x New Balance 1080v15 combines minimalist design with high-performance tech. Earthy colourways, premium materials and new Infinion cushioning – global release on 10 April for €220. With the District Vision x New Balance 1080v15, both brands are consistently pursuing their shared vision of performance and mindfulness. This time, the focus is clearly on minimalism, functionality and high-quality materials – without any unnecessary frills.
Visually, the runner comes in two monochrome, earthy colourways that are heavily inspired by running silhouettes from the 90s. The upper consists of a multi-layered mesh construction that appears completely ‘enveloped’, combined with Clarino suede overlays on the toe box and sides. A special detail is the woven-in ‘N’ logo, which isn’t applied in the traditional way but becomes an integral part of the construction.
Technically, the 1080v15 also delivers impressively. The new Infinion midsole provides long-lasting cushioning and strong energy return – designed for daily runs and long distances. Added to this is a robust outsole that underlines the performance credentials.
The whole collection is part of a larger capsule range that also includes functional accessories such as photochromic sunglasses and high-quality running gloves – fully in line with the “High Performance Being” approach.
