The trainers are based on the popular Hierro v8, one of New Balance's top trail models, and combine technical functionality with a minimalist design approach.
The upper of the Hierro Lifestyle features shrunken New Balance logos and reduced panel structures for a contemporary look. However, the materials remain state of the art: the sneaker features a Fresh Foam X midsole, Vibram EcoStep Natural outsoles and a breathable, lightweight mesh upper. Special details include the hand-drawn overlay, which is partly made from recycled materials, and the red dot next to the ‘N’ logo - a nod to District Vision's Japanese eyewear line.
