To mark the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95, Nike SB is taking the next step in crossover design: together with skateboarding legend Eric Koston, it is releasing a skate version of the legendary runner – in a colourway strongly reminiscent of the Michigan theme.

The upper is made from a blend of suede, nubuck and smooth leather. The colour gradient from Summit White to deep Obsidian gives the classic AM95 lines a particularly dynamic look. Yellow accents on the tongue, Air units and branding elements round off the sporty design. New features include functional adjustments for skateboarding, including robust materials and reinforced construction.

Personal details make the shoe a true signature piece: the right tongue label now reads ‘Koston’ instead of ‘Air Max’, while Thai characters on the front side panel translate the word ‘Nike’ – a tribute to Koston's Thai heritage. Inside, special retro-style insole graphics complete the design.

With this collaboration, Nike SB has once again succeeded in transforming an iconic model into the skate world – driven by one of its most famous personalities. The sneaker is likely to generate excitement not only among skaters but also among collectors.

It will be released on Tuesday, 4th November 2025, and will cost €200.
