To mark the start of the new NBA season, Fear of God Athletics is launching a new colourway of the Basketball II – this time in a soft pink shade called ‘Wonder Oxide’. The model remains true to Jerry Lorenzo's signature design approach: clean lines, a restrained colour palette and minimalist branding. The upper is made of breathable mesh and synthetic overlays. It also features tone-on-tone laces and subtle logos on the heel and toe area.

The sneaker deliberately avoids visual gimmicks and impresses with its design language. Functionality is not neglected either: the LIGHTSTRIKE midsole provides lightweight cushioning, while the radially designed outsole is designed for stability and traction on the court.

Originally introduced in 2024 as a performance update to the Basketball I, the Fear of God Athletics II has evolved into a hybrid of fashion statement and functional basketball shoe. The new ‘Wonder Oxide’ version focuses more on colour blocking for the first time: a slightly lighter shade of pink has been used for the mesh and combined with darker suede overlays. The white midsole provides contrast and emphasises the clean overall look.
