At the end of 2020, adidas quietly switched from the classic Superstar to the often overlooked Forum, and we hardly even noticed. While there were still a few new Superstar releases, the focus was on the other retro sneaker.

At the same time, the brand with the Three Stripes collaborated with great partners like Girls Are Awesome to create a collection with Los Angeles Lakers-friendly colours.

The two brands have designed a total of three sneakers. These include a Girls Are Awesome x adidas Forum 84, a Triple Platforum Low, and a Forum Low. The look is shared between three models, while the brand's initiative is embroidered on the side midfoot.

They also feature furry trims and the signature lockdown strap, which can be swapped for other fasteners that are included.

But only a few probably care, because the Triple Platforum Low gets most of the attention. adidas released the new silhouette especially for the new collection. The model's upper is mostly similar to its original counterpart, but the sole units have been elevated with exaggerated midsoles.
