The focus is on the Converse 1908 Pro Leather. The original basketball model from the 1970s was once worn by players such as Julius ‘Dr. J’ Erving and Magic Johnson, amongst others. For this new version, the low-top trainer features a wider toe box, oversized rows of eyelets, thick laces and a striking toe cap with an embossed star.
High-quality full-grain leather and suede are paired with classic elements such as perforated details, the Star Chevron logo and a deliberately aged rubber midsole. GOLF le FLEUR* branding on the tongue and on the outer side clearly showcases Tyler’s signature style.
The 1908 Pro Leather is available, amongst other colourways, in a green ‘Amazon’ colourway with white leather details, as well as in a white version with green accents. There are also reports of a red suede variant, the exact availability of which may vary depending on the retailer.
The basketball trainer is complemented by the Converse 1908 Jogger. The silhouette is based on a retro-inspired running model and has been fitted with a high-quality leather upper for this release. The low-profile design, lightweight foam midsole and serrated rubber outsole create a classic 1970s look.
The white 1908 Jogger features an almost entirely white leather upper, cream-coloured laces and baby blue logos on the sides. The black version remains largely monochrome and is complemented by white Converse branding on the tongue and sides.
