Guardians Of The Galaxy x adidas Forum 84 High Star Lord

The label with the Three Stripes is an indispensable part of sneaker history and has produced a wide range of silhouettes over the course of its long existence. Collaboration partners have often played an essential role in drawing even more attention to the popular brand. Now, adidas has teamed up with Marvel to release an extensive collection that visualises the details of the popular "Guardians of the Galaxy" on different models.

The adidas Forum 84 High Star Lord takes advantage of the vintage look of the '80s and uses many leather elements in a yellowed white shade accordingly. In addition, many blue accents are used on the sneaker, which clearly contrast with the otherwise rather neutral aesthetic.

This colourway is supposed to be a homage to the intergalactic criminal Peter Quill a.k.a. Star Lord, which is made especially clear by the Star Lord logos. This model even makes an appearance in the Guardians of the Galaxy video game of the same name and is worn by a young Peter Quill at the beginning.
