After five successful drops, Jae Tips and Saucony continue their creative collaboration with the ‘Flowers Grow Uptown’ collection. The sixth collaboration, entitled ‘Flowers Grow Uptown,’ was first shown at Paris Fashion Week and brings floral energy to the retro ProGrid Triumph 4 runner. Inspired by New York's plant life and Jae Tips' roots in the Bronx, each colourway makes a colourful statement.
The trainers are available in green, purple and pink and feature colour-coordinated soles, shiny leather overlays and mesh bases. Distinctive details such as embroidered ‘UPTOWN’ on the heel, floral logos on the midfoot and tongue, and ‘SAVIOR’ lettering make the models unmistakable. The design resembles a wearable mural and reflects Jae Tips' approach to uniting community, art and style.
Exclusive pop-ups were held in London and New York in the run-up to the release, where fans could exchange a plant for the right to purchase – a creative community event in which the plants were then donated to schools and gardens in the Bronx neighbourhood.
