The latest version of the New Balance 990 V3 is equipped with a velvety soft suede upper, which is primarily dominated by olive green tones. Some details are a little darker, while the mesh inserts are a little lighter. The shoe tongue, the heel cap with JJJJound branding, the encap element, and the insert above the rear midsole with New Balance lettering all come with a silver look, thus clearly enhancing the sneaker.

The signature New Balance logo on the outside comes in a deep black, while the laces provide further contrast with their creamy hue. The same beige is also found on a small part of the midsole, which is otherwise kept in a clean white. A dark outsole rounds off the lower part of the sneaker perfectly.
