Product description

☒
PUMA has collaborated with Canadian design studio JJJJound to give the retro Mostro runner a surprisingly luxurious upgrade. The result? Two monochrome masterpieces in dark brown and navy blue that, in true JJJJound style, focus on understatement and quality.
The originally performance-oriented Mostro has been given a lifestyle rebranding: instead of synthetic materials, soft suede is used for the upper, fine leather for the inner lining and a subtle dot matrix Formstrip graphic. As usual, the Montreal label places its branding inconspicuously – the name can only be found on the heel clip.
Particularly striking is the typical Mostro sole with its aggressive spike structure, which could have come straight out of a science fiction film. Despite their futuristic base, the shoes' muted colours and clean design make them perfect for sophisticated urban looks.
The drop is part of a series of strong PUMA collaborations, including the ‘Mostro Craft’ project with Aries, and impresses with even more class and maturity.
