Joe Freshgoods x New Balance Abzorb 2010 "Snakeskin"

With his latest collaboration, Joe Freshgoods brings his very personal narrative back to the world of sneakers. The New Balance 2010 ‘Bag Lady’ is part of the pack that also includes the ‘Hand-Me-Downs’ colourway. The motto of the pack is ‘found and loved’ – worn, loved, remembered.

The sneaker is a mix of beige mesh and plush, fuzzy overlays reminiscent of cuddly toys or old home textiles. The colours are muted, with lots of tan, olive green and cream. This is particularly evident in the red accents on the outsole. Black ‘N’ logos and rope laces complete the look.

The materials look worn and are reminiscent of earlier JFG series such as ‘Inside Voices’ or ‘Performance Art’. The retro runner silhouette remains unchanged, including modern ABZORB cushioning and a midsole that supports the foot.

The sneaker will be released on 14 November 2025 for €190, first at BSTN and a few other selected retailers. An online release on NewBalance.com is still pending.

The drop has been confirmed at European retailers such as BSTN, and there may be an exclusive release of the black version via the JFG web shop or at ComplexCon.
