Kim Jones x Converse Chuck 70 High Natural Ivory Release News

In early 2021, Converse already announced a series of collabs with many famous and notable partners. These include Bandulu, Slam Jam, Joe Freshgoods, Brain Dead, and recently, Kim Jones. Just a few days ago, Kim Jones dropped two Air Max 95s with Nike, and now, the designer is travelling further with a new project.

With Converse, the British designer will release two Chuck 70 Highs in the colourways "Natural Ivory" and "Black", as well as a matching apparel collection with a total of six pieces. We show you the pictures of the sneakers and all the information right here.

Kim Jones x Converse Chuck 70 High Natural Ivory Release Info

The parka, crewneck, pants, and tees by Kim Jones are already quite remarkable, but in our opinion, the sneakers are definitely the stars of the new collection. The designer has been inspired by his observation of street and sportswear and thus designed two classic sneakers in a subtle way with contemporary details.

The base for both models is said to be a simple canvas, but the rest of the elements claim the attention for themselves. In the foreground are the transparent TPU cages with quick lacing eyelets for more stability. Added to this are raised distance cups for even more support and double soles that reinforce the eye-catching style.

But these are not the only new details. Converse's internal brandings each have a different colour, while Kim Jones immortalises himself on the tongues.
