Nike continues to expand on Kobe Bryant’s legacy, this time focusing on the early days of his basketball career. The new Kobe x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Lower Merion Aces” pack pays homage to Kobe’s time at Lower Merion High School in Pennsylvania – where the future NBA superstar first gained national attention as a teenager.

The pack is released in two classic versions, inspired by the Lower Merion Aces’ team uniforms from that era: a white “Home” colourway and a dark burgundy “Away” colourway. Both versions draw on the traditional school colours and combine them with luxurious lifestyle details.

Particularly striking is the textured upper with a snakeskin look – a direct reference to Kobe’s famous “Black Mamba” persona. Added to this are tonal Swooshes, classic Air Force 1 elements and high-quality material combinations that offer a modern take on the retro basketball look.

The most emotive details, however, are found on the heel: there, both the “Aces” and “LM” branding appear, as well as the number 33 – Kobe’s legendary high school jersey number. The whole look is complemented by the Kobe Sheath logo on the outer heel area, maintaining the connection to the Kobe line.
