The Mizuno MXR pays homage to the iconic running silhouettes of the early 2000s and combines classic aesthetics with contemporary technology. The shoe is based on Mizuno's Maximiser series, a widely popular running shoe line in Japan, and now brings this look to the lifestyle sector.

Its breathable mesh upper ensures optimum ventilation, while strategically placed reinforcements in high-wear areas provide additional support and durability. The multi-layer tooling is particularly eye-catching, with clever material combinations and stylish colour blocking.

For maximum comfort, Mizuno relies on its tried-and-tested Wave technology in the midsole, which combines soft cushioning with stable support. A foam footbed and a hard-wearing rubber outsole round off the sophisticated design. Some elements of the sneaker are also made from recycled materials.

The Mizuno MXR will be released on 4 February 2025 and will be available for €110.
