With the 983, New Balance presents a new silhouette that combines various elements from its own running archive. The design is reminiscent of technical performance trainers from the early 2000s, yet its organic shapes and heavily sculpted sole give it a modern and distinctive look.

The upper consists of dark mesh and rounded synthetic overlays with a glossy finish. ‘Shadow Blue’ and ‘Zinc Blue’ create a multi-layered tone-on-tone look, whilst reflective elements and a moulded ‘N’ logo reinforce the technical aesthetic.

Particularly striking is the sole unit with its elliptical ABZORB-SBS pods and wavy lines. A dual-density midsole provides cushioning and stability, whilst a softer rubber outsole supports flexibility and comfort. Despite its sculptural look, the 983 remains perfectly suitable for everyday wear.
