The 990v6 ‘Driftwood’ is part of the New Balance ‘Made in USA’ Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, which is under the creative direction of Teddy Santis. The sneaker takes the DNA of the legendary 990 and combines it with subtle, earthy colours and high-quality materials. Instead of classic suede, this model uses fine nubuck leather on the mudguard and eyestay, combined with olive-coloured leather underlays, off-white mesh inserts and a reflective ‘N’ logo.

Inside, the FuelCell midsole provides a more dynamic ride and noticeable energy return, while the proven ENCAP cushioning system ensures stability and comfort. A TPU heel cap and subtle reflective details round off the functional silhouette. The shoe remains tone-on-tone in colour. The beige-brown midsole blends seamlessly with the earthy upper.
