New Balance remains true to its strongest tradition and, with the Made in USA 992 “Shadow Grey”, once again delivers a premium runner that combines classic colour schemes with modern material updates.

Whilst many 992 releases rely on classic suede constructions, this colourway takes a slightly different approach. The upper combines pre-aged Shadow Grey leather with Turtledove mesh and robust nubuck overlays in Team Away Grey. This creates a look that appears high-quality, worn-in and timeless all at once.

The textured leather panels on the sides, in particular, add extra depth and set the trainer apart from typical Grey Day releases. Light-coloured mesh panels break up the darker sections and give the shoe a balanced look.

Underfoot, it sticks to the tried-and-tested formula. The characteristic ABZORB cushioning ensures high comfort for everyday wear, whilst the visible ABZORB-SBS elements emphasise the classic 992 look. The multi-layered midsole in shades of cream, grey and black perfectly rounds off the vintage character.
