The New Balance 991v2 remains the flagship of the Made-in-UK range and is getting a new colourway for summer 2026 that perfectly suits the season. With the ‘Mahogany Rose’ colourway, the long-established Boston-based brand is opting for a subtle blend of vintage aesthetics and modern pastel shades.

As usual, the trainer is manufactured at the legendary Flimby factory in England, where every 991v2 version is produced using high-quality materials and with exceptional attention to detail. The ‘Mahogany Rose’ features premium suede, leather and breathable mesh, all of which are finished entirely in the eponymous rose shade.

To ensure the look isn’t too monochrome, New Balance complements the colour palette with classic grey accents on the ‘N’ logo on the side, the laces and the branding on the heel. The result is modern, nostalgic and surprisingly versatile all at once.

The multicoloured midsole adds further character. Whilst the heel area is finished in a slightly yellowed cream shade, white foam in the forefoot provides fresh contrasts. A black outsole rounds off the design and ensures the signature premium look of the Made-in-UK range.

The ‘Mahogany Rose’ is also part of the new ‘Dusty Pastels’ pack, which, alongside this pink version, also includes a ‘Sea Grass’ colourway. Both models impressively demonstrate how well subtle colours can be combined with the classic running DNA of the 991v2.
