Following the success of the ‘Colorado Home’ version, Nike is following up with the Nike Air DT Max 96 ‘Colorado Away’ just in time for the college season. The silhouette remains retro, but the colour blocking celebrates the Colorado Buffaloes' away jerseys: bright white leather as a base, broken up by claw-like cut-outs that flash gold – very much in the spirit of Coach Prime, aka Deion Sanders.

Of course, the midfoot strap is back, providing that typical Diamond Turf vibe. Black Swoosh embroidery and practical heel tabs round off the design. The classic Diamond Turf logo adorns the insole, while a real highlight slumbers under the heel: Sanders' face printed in the Air window. Thanks to Max Air cushioning and a foam midsole, not only style but also comfort is guaranteed.

The Nike Air DT Max 96 ‘Colorado Away’ will be released on 2 September 2024 for £170. The shoe will be available at Nike.com and in selected stores in men's sizes.
